Les Feldick Bible Study

When does the world go into chaos during the tribulation?

The world goes into chaos at the midpoint of the tribulation. Until that point, materialistic and economic activity continues, including construction, building, highways, and travel. At the midpoint, the sky falls and everything becomes chaotic, not before the Lord comes.

Les explains that he cannot accept the Y2K idea that the world would stop on January 1, 2000, because it does not fit the worldwide economic activity and construction he and Iris observe, such as office buildings, homes, and highways. He notes the Bible says that at the coming of Christ, especially for the rapture, there will be great worldwide economic activity, and people are so caught up in materialism—making big bucks with the stock market roaring—that they have no time for eternity. He feels the world will not collapse before the Lord comes; up until at least the midpoint of the tribulation, materialistic activity continues. At the midpoint, the sky falls and everything goes into a chaotic condition.
