What are the values of the new nature?
The new nature possesses a whole new set of values that are in compliance with the righteousness, holiness, and laws of God. These values stand in total contrast to the old nature, which is bent in rebellion and unbelief, so the two are contrary and war constantly.
Les explains that the new nature has a whole new set of values that comply with the righteousness, holiness, and laws of God. This new nature is at war with the old nature, or old Adam, which is the flesh. The old nature's god is Satan, the god of this world, and it is bent in rebellion and unbelief. These two forces within each believer are contrary, cannot agree on anything, and war constantly from the moment of salvation until death or the Rapture.
