What confidence did Paul have about the Galatians who had been misled?

Paul had confidence through the Lord that the Galatians would be none otherwise minded—that they would return to the truth of the Gospel of grace. He was confident that whoever troubled them and led them away would bear his sure judgment from God.

Les explains that these people were in Asia Minor, in Galatia, and had turned against the apostle, yet he had not given up on bringing them back into the truth of the Gospel of the grace of God. Quoting the apostle’s words, Les points out the confidence: “I have confidence in you through the Lord, that you will be none otherwise minded.” At the same time, the one troubling them would bear his judgment, whoever he was. Les teaches that such a false teacher would one day stand before the great white throne as a lost person and be judged absolutely. He further says preachers and theologians who mislead people will have the hottest corner in the lake of fire because they mislead multitudes, and that anyone who picks up the Book accepts a tremendous responsibility.

Galatians 5:10

I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
