What does conversation mean in Philippians 3:20?

In Philippians 3:20, the King James term "conversation" means citizenship. It refers to the believer's citizenship, which is in heaven. When believers were translated into the kingdom of His dear Son, they became citizens of it, so their true citizenship is heavenly, not earthly.

Les explains that although the King James Version uses the word "conversation" in Philippians 3:20, the meaning is our citizenship. He asks where it is and answers: in heaven. This happened when we were translated into the kingdom of His dear Son and became citizens of it. So the believer's citizenship is in heaven. It is the Jerusalem which is above. Grace Age believers are not tied to temple worship in earthly Jerusalem but to the heavenly Jerusalem which is above, and it is free with total liberty. That heavenly Jerusalem is the mother, or the beginning, of us all.
