Why did Paul write the book of Galatians with his own hand instead of using a secretary?

Paul wrote Galatians in his own hand because the matter was so urgent that he did not wait for a secretary or amanuensis, as he normally did for his other epistles. Despite an eye problem—his thorn in the flesh—he wrote personally, using large letters because of poor sight.

Les explains that it became such an urgent thing for the Apostle Paul that he did not even wait for a secretary, or amanuensis, to do the writing for him as he does on all of his other epistles. It was so urgent that Les believes Paul wrote this in his own hand, even in spite of an eye problem, which Les still thinks was his thorn in the flesh. As blind people do, Paul no doubt had to print with large figures, and he makes mention of the fact, "you see what large letter I write." Les thinks that was all in regard to his inability to see small print, but he had to print in large figures because of his blindness. So the whole little letter, Galatians, is written with this in view, that you're not under law, you're under grace.
