What happens when you put your mind on the power of the resurrection?
Setting your mind on the power of the resurrection causes all demonic stuff to flee like chaff in a windstorm. The focus shifts from demons to the resurrection, and Paul never emphasizes demons as active in a believer's life, only the power of His resurrection.
Les explains that the lady was distressed, seeing demons in her home and family and feeling up against the forces of Satan. He told her she had her mind in the wrong places. He instructed her to put her mind on the power of the resurrection, promising that all the demonic stuff would flee like chaff in a windstorm. He added that she should forget about the demons, noting that Paul never once uses the word of demons as active in the life of a believer, but talks only about the power of His resurrection.
