What happens when you set your mind on the power of Jesus' resurrection instead of on demons?
Setting your mind on the power of Jesus' resurrection causes all demonic stuff to flee like chaff in a windstorm. You are to forget about the demons and focus instead on His resurrection power, which is what Paul consistently emphasizes, never treating demons as active in a believer's life.
Les explains that the lady was distressed because she saw demons in her home and family and felt up against the forces of Satan. He told her the problem was that her mind was in the wrong places. If she would put her mind on the power of the resurrection, all the demonic stuff would flee like chaff in a windstorm. He urged her to get her mind on the power of His resurrection and forget about the demons, noting that Paul never uses the word of demons as being active in the life of a believer, but speaks instead of the power of His resurrection.
