How many people are under the curse without knowing it?
Millions of people are under the curse without knowing it. They suppose they are keeping the law and commandments, believing this pleases God, but Scripture says as many as are under the works of the law are under the curse.
Les teaches that millions of people are in that position and do not know it. They are supposedly law keepers and supposedly keeping the commandments, and they think that by doing so they are pleasing God. But Les explains that they are not pleasing God; instead, they are placing themselves under the curse. He points to Galatians 3, where as many as are under the works of the law are under the curse of God, or the Almighty. He also notes that the word curse here means more than just puncturing a voodoo doll with a needle. In connection with Paul’s reference in Galatians, Les directs attention back to Deuteronomy 27, which is why the Bible tells us that Christ was under the curse of the Law.
