Who were the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the early chapters of Acts originally directed to?

The Old Testament, the Gospels, and the early chapters of Acts were originally directed to the nation of Israel, and they operated under Israel's auspices. They were not initially addressed to the Gentile Church or the Body of Christ, which Paul's letters later address.

Les teaches that the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the early chapters of Acts were all directed to and under the auspices of the nation of Israel. In contrast, Paul's letters stand in the center of the New Testament and are directed primarily to the Gentile Church, the Body of Christ. Les explains that when Israel continued to reject everything and would not believe Christ was the promised Messiah, God providentially took away the Temple, took away Jerusalem, uprooted the nation, and dispersed them among the nations. He then turned to the pagan Gentile world beginning with the Apostle Paul.
