What should believers constantly remember about Christ?

Believers should constantly remember that Christ loved them and gave Himself for them. He is faithful, will never let them down, and by His faithfulness they can live a life pleasing to God, because He is able to keep and empower them.

Les explains that when Christ died, that's when we died; the believer is crucified with Christ, yet lives physically, and Christ liveth in me. The life we now live in the flesh, here and now, day by day, is lived because of the faithfulness of the One who bought us. He is faithful and will never let us down. Paul goes on to say by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me. Les contrasts Peter's Acts chapter 2 statement, you killed the Messiah, with Paul's He died for you, a graphic difference we have to understand. So the life we now live in the flesh is lived by the faithfulness, because God is able to keep us, empower us, to live a life that is pleasing, showing that He loved us and gave Himself for us. This is what we have to constantly remember.

Galatians 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
