Does God still hold believers accountable for abstaining from idols, blood, strangled things, and fornication even though they are under grace?

Yes. Even though believers are under Grace and not under Law, God still holds them accountable to abstain from meat offered to idols, blood, things strangled, and fornication. This requirement was part of the written agreement from Jerusalem, and keeping yourselves from these things means you shall do well.

Les explains that the Jerusalem church sent a written agreement to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, confirming that Gentile converts were no longer forced to keep the Law or practice circumcision. Yet they were told to abstain from meat offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from fornication, and that keeping themselves from these would mean doing well. Les points back to Leviticus chapters 17 and 18 and says even though this was part of the Law, God could sanction its continuing through the Gospel of Grace. He firmly believes that while we are under Grace, not under Law, God is still holding us accountable for not doing any of these things. He also notes that Satan worship often begins with drinking blood and becoming immoral.
