Does being under grace mean Christians are free to eat blood, commit immorality, or worship idols?

No. Being under grace does not free believers to eat blood, practice immorality, or worship idols. Scripture's judgments against Canaanite and Egyptian immoral sins remain applicable; such things are forbidden, and believers are to have nothing to do with them.

Les explains that after God stipulated the immoral sins of the Canaanites and Egyptians, believers were to have nothing to do with them, and that instruction is still applicable. Just because we are under grace, he says, does not mean we are now free to eat blood, practice immorality, or worship idols. Absolutely not, he insists; those things are “verboten,” forbidden, and we better remember that. He then returns to Galatians chapter 2, noting Peter was still steeped in legalism and had not had his eyes totally open to the Pauline truths, though Peter was in perfect accord with his Lord as far as it went.
