Who opposed Paul's gospel among the Gentiles, and when did they start?

The Judaizers from Jerusalem opposed Paul’s gospel among the Gentiles. They began the moment Gentile converts started coming in under His Gospel, undermining Paul by insisting that Gentiles must keep the Law of Moses and be circumcised. Their influence was already causing the Galatians to fall to that teaching.

Les explains that Israel rejected Christ at His first advent and continued in unbelief, until God saved Saul of Tarsus in Acts chapter 9 and announced that He would send him far hence to the Gentiles. That is when everything began to change, and Romans chapter 6 declares that we are not under law but under grace. But the moment Gentile converts began to come in under His Gospel, the Judaizers from Jerusalem began to undermine it. They tried to convince the Gentiles that they had to keep the Law of Moses and be circumcised, and the Galatians were falling to that. Paul even makes a stringent statement, and Les returns to Galatians chapter 1 for review.
