What did Peter actually preach about Jesus at Cornelius's house?

At Cornelius’s house Peter preached Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah and Son of God, who had appeared to Israel, was crucified, killed, and raised alive. Peter declared that all the prophets witness salvation through His Name, not through the cross-work Paul later preached.

Les explains that Peter, in the home of Cornelius, had not yet been given Paul’s gospel. While Peter was still preaching, the Holy Spirit came upon those Gentiles, evidenced with tongues, which astonished Peter because the expected order of repentance, baptism, and then the Spirit did not happen. Peter’s message rehearsed only that Jesus of Nazareth, who had appeared to the nation of Israel, had been crucified, killed, but had been raised from the dead and was alive. In Acts 10:43, Peter says all the prophets witness that through His Name—not through His work of the cross—is salvation. Peter did not yet know Paul’s gospel, but he knew that the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, the Son of God, was the vehicle for salvation.
