Les Feldick Bible Study

What is the clearly divided division Les says must be kept between Israel and the Gentiles and the Body of Christ?

The clearly divided division is the distinction between what God did with Israel and what He is doing with the Gentiles and the Body of Christ. These two programs must be kept unmixed. Paul did not confer with flesh and blood or go to the Jerusalem apostles, because the risen Lord was revealing something totally different to him.

Les teaches that men have been mixing the two ever since the apostle left the sea, and he is trying to unmix it and bring it back to the clearly divided division between what God did with Israel and what He is doing with the Gentiles and the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit made Paul's revelation so positive that He would not let Paul be tainted by what the twelve had learned at the feet of Jesus. Jesus the Lord now had something totally different to show Paul, and He did not want it mixed up. Paul therefore conferred not with flesh and blood, because he was dealing with the flesh and bone, the Lord Jesus up in glory. When he realized he was to be an apostle of the Gentiles, he did not go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before him, yet he never takes away the authority of Peter and the other eleven apostles.
