What is the chronological order in which Paul wrote his letters?
The Thessalonian letters were written first, then probably Galatians and Romans, then perhaps the Corinthians, all close together. Later, toward the end of his ministry, came the prison epistles: 1st and 2nd Timothy, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Philemon, and Titus. They are not arranged chronologically in the New Testament.
Les explains that Paul's letters are not in chronological order in the New Testament, nowhere near it. The first written were 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, then probably Galatians and Romans, then perhaps the Corinthians, all pretty close together. Later, toward the end of his ministry, the prison epistles were written: 1st and 2nd Timothy, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, Philemon, and Titus. He also notes that in every available manuscript, Paul's letters always appear in the same order as our New Testament today, confirming the Holy Spirit's control over Paul's apostleship.
