What age are we in now that we are not in the prophetic program?
For almost two thousand years, since the prophetic program of Jew only halted and God's time clock stopped, believers are not in prophecy but in the Age of Grace. This age is the revelation of the mysteries, truths kept secret in the Old Testament, including Gentiles being brought into relationship with God.
Les teaches that prophecy had run its course: Christ came according to prophecy, was rejected, crucified, and with Israel's continued rejection the prophetic program of Jew only came to a screeching halt. God's time clock stopped, prophecy stopped, and God opened a whole new vista of Scripture—the mysteries. Paul writes in Romans 16:25 about “my gospel” and “the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery.” So now, for almost two thousand years, we have not been in the prophetic program but in the Age of Grace, the revelation of the mysteries, things kept secret in the Old Testament, with no concept of Gentiles being brought into a relationship with the Almighty God.
