What is the church age in relation to the prophetic program?

The church age is a parenthetical period slipped in between the prophetic program. All prophecy is directed to and connected with Israel, while the church age is Gentile in nature and not associated with prophecy. Most, if not all, church-age basic doctrines come from the Apostle Paul, and the Body of Christ is predominantly Gentile.

Les explains that no prophecy associates itself with the church, but all prophecy is directed to and connected with the nation of Israel. Consequently, the church age has been more or less a parenthetical period slipped in between the prophetic program, and it is Gentile in nature, while prophecy belongs with Israel. Most, if not all, of the church age’s basic doctrines come from the pen of the Apostle Paul. Because the church is strictly a Pauline revelation, nothing concerning the church is found in the Old Testament, and nothing concerning the Body of Christ is found in the Gospels. It is not until Paul comes on the scene and receives this revelation from the ascended and glorified Lord that these truths are made known. Since Israel rejected her Messiah, the King and the Kingdom, and the opportunity to evangelize the nations, God set Israel aside into dispersion and turned to the Gentiles completely without the nation of Israel. It therefore follows that the Body of Christ has to be removed. The Body of Christ is predominantly Gentile and is not associated with prophecy.
