What does the psalmist write about God's King after the wrath?

After the wrath and vexation—the seven years of tribulation—the psalmist writes, “I have set my King upon the holy hill of Zion.” That holy hill represents the Kingdom, which Christ will yet establish when He comes, exactly as the prophetic program declares in Psalms 2.

Les explains that after Israel crucified Christ and He ascended back to glory, the next event in the Old Testament prophetic timeline is not the church age but God’s wrath. Psalms 2 describes the wrath and vexation—the seven years of tribulation—falling on the nations of the world and Israel in particular. Yet in spite of everything falling in place according to the prophetic program, the psalmist writes, “I have set my King upon the holy hill of Zion.” Les says that holy hill is the Kingdom. Then Christ would come and yet set up His Kingdom. He notes the church age is missing here because the Old Testament says nothing about it.
