How long did God deal only with the Jews after Abraham?

From Abraham's call, dated around 2000 BC, God dealt with Jew only for the next 2,000 years, extending to Christ's first advent. This period is called the prophetic program, or Old Testament program, and it included exceptions, though it was interrupted when the church age began.

Les explains that with the 2000 BC call of Abraham, God was dealing for the next 2000 years up to Christ's first advent with Jew only, and he notes that he has always said this was with exceptions. He calls this whole period from Abraham until the church age begins the time of prophecy, the prophetic program, or the Old Testament program. He then shows how that program was interrupted, and he points out that true prophecy in the Old Testament almost always placed God's promises in a specific time frame, even naming the day and number of years involved.
