What is required to understand the church age and why God deals with us the way He does?
Understanding the church age and why God deals with us as He does requires seeing where it all began. The timeline shows how everything unfolds, fits together, and rests on what has gone before, so the church age cannot be rightly understood apart from that beginning.
Les explains that he digressed from going into Galatians in order to review the timeline because of many requests and comments about it. He says people in his local classes told him that if he had ever done anything to open up the Bible, it was using the timeline. The timeline reveals how everything unfolds, how it all fits, and how everything rests on that which is gone before. Therefore, it is hard to understand the church age and why God is dealing with us the way He is unless we see where it all began.
