Did the great man of God Dwight Moody heard about become totally sold out to God?

No. The great man of God Dwight L. Moody heard about wished to be totally sold out to God, but on his deathbed he admitted he did not attain. Moody later desired the same, yet at the end of his ministry he also admitted, 'Neither have I.'

Les explains that Paul’s concern was not the Corinthians’ money but believers sold out to Christ. To illustrate, Les recalls that Dwight L. Moody had heard of another great man of God who, early in ministry, wished he could be totally sold out to God, but on his deathbed admitted, 'I didn’t attain.' Moody said he wanted to be that man, yet at the end of his ministry he too had to admit, 'Neither have I.' Les ties this to being sold out to Christ.
