How did Paul know no one would die in the shipwreck on the way to Rome?
Paul knew no one would die because the Lord Jesus had communicated with him, revealing that not a life would be lost. God had appeared to him, and Paul brought the situation under control by declaring that divine assurance to the prisoners and crew.
Les explains that on the trip to Rome, prisoners and others were about to be put to death because they did not want to escape. Paul brought everything under control and said, 'Look God has appeared to me, not a life is going to be lost.' How did he know? The Lord Jesus had communicated with him. These supernatural communications compensated for Paul's trials and sufferings, though believers today do not have that same experience.
