Why couldn't Paul repeat what he heard in paradise?
Scripture states Paul was caught up into paradise and heard unspeakable words that were not permitted or lawful for a man to utter. God allowed him to see and hear these things, but He instructed Paul that he could not repeat them and had to keep them to himself.
Les explains that Paul had been given a glimpse of heaven as we normally think of it, with its beauty and no doubt its music, and evidently had a full exposure to all this. He saw the glories and heard the magnificent things, and was caught up into paradise, where he heard unspeakable words which it is not permitted or lawful for a man to utter. Les teaches that God told Paul, in effect, “I’m letting you see and hear, but you can’t repeat it. You have to keep it to yourself.” Paul therefore would not glory in the experience itself but would forbear, lest any man should think of him above what he saw or heard.
