Where is paradise now, since believers go to be present with the Lord?

Paradise is now in heaven. Scripture reasons that if one is absent from the body and present with the Lord, he hopes to go to paradise, because paradise is now in heaven as we understand heaven. Paul was caught up into paradise in 2 Corinthians 12.

Les explains from II Corinthians 5:8 that believers are willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. If that is the case, the believer is hoping to go to paradise, because paradise is now in heaven as we understand heaven. He then points to II Corinthians 12, where Paul got a glimpse of heaven with its beauty and no doubt its music. Paul had a full exposure to these glories, heard magnificent things, and was caught up into paradise, hearing unspeakable words not permitted or lawful for a man to utter. God allowed Paul to see and hear but told him he could not repeat it and had to keep it to himself. Returning to verse 5, Paul says he would glory, yet not of himself but in his infirmities; he would not be a fool, remembering what God had instructed. He says the truth but forbears, lest any man should think of him above what he saw or heard.

2 Corinthians 5:8

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 12:4

How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
