Les Feldick Bible Study

Can someone who looks powerful and almost angelic still end up judged by their works?

Yes. Scripture says false ministers are transformed as ministers of righteousness, and their end is eternal doom according to their works. Even if they seem to shine like an angel of light and appear to have great power, their judgment is by works, and their faith may prove not what they thought.

Les explains that these are ministers transformed as ministers of righteousness, whose end is according to their works. He stresses this is what God's Word says, not his own words. Such people seemingly can almost shine forth like an angel of light and seem to have all the power, and the world is full of it. Yet their end is eternal doom according to their works. He also cites a Bible scholar from England who envisioned them standing before the great white throne, a place only for the lost, suddenly realizing their faith was not what they thought it was. Les warns that what we see and hear must line up with the Word of God; if it does not, they could very well be ministers of Satan, who is the angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:15

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
