What happens if Satan can silence the Body of Christ?
If Satan can neutralize the Body of Christ so that it says nothing, he can have full sway. Because the Church is where Satan faces his greatest opposition, silencing the Body removes restraint, allowing his influence to advance unchecked. Scripture warns that corrupted minds depart from the simplicity in Christ.
Les teaches that Eve is a symbol of the Church, the Body of Christ, so it stands to reason that Satan constantly attacks the Church because that is where he has his greatest opposition. He points to II Corinthians 11:3, where the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, and warns that minds can be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
