What will set the tribulation ball rolling?

Les teaches from 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 9, that the Antichrist's coming is after the working of Satan, who is the liar, with all power, signs, lying wonders, and all deceivableness of unrighteousness. Those who perish received not the love of Christ or the love of the truth. Because they rejected salvation, God shall send them a strong delusion, taking away their ability to comprehend truth, so they believe the lie. That, Les says, is what sets the tribulation ball rolling: the world again believes the lie of the Father of all lies. He then contrasts Paul in 2 Corinthians chapter 6, who says he is not coming with deceivableness or the power of a lie.
