When does a believer become a member of the Kingdom of Christ in heaven?
The moment a person becomes a believer and is placed in Christ, they are also made a member of the Kingdom of Christ in heaven. That citizenship is already there, though the believer remains on earth as an ambassador representing heaven.
Les explains from Philippians 3:20 that the believer's conversation or citizenship is already in heaven. He teaches that the moment a person becomes a believer and is placed in Christ, they are simultaneously made members of the Kingdom of Christ in heaven. Yet they are left on earth as ambassadors to represent their homeland, serving as representatives of heaven and ministers of reconciliation. Les notes this is a great commission anyone can do, unlike baptism, which he says he is not comfortable performing. The Kingdom will one day come back to earth, and believers will come with Him and rule and reign with Him as members of that Kingdom in heaven.
