What happens to a person who rejects Christ's atonement and dies in unbelief?

Anyone who spurns Christ's atonement and dies in unbelief must give an account for everything done in the body as a lost person. He will come before the great white throne, where the dead, small and great, stand before God, the Lord Jesus Christ, as Judge.

Les teaches that although all the world’s sins are forgiven and paid for by Christ’s atoning blood, the lost person should not think he will escape accounting. If he spurns that atonement and turns his back on it in unbelief, he will have to give an account for everything he did in the body as a lost person. Revelation 20 shows every unbeliever from Cain to the last at the end of the ages coming before the great white throne, which is only for the lost, not the judgment seat that Christians will be at. The dead, small and great, stand before God, and the Judge is the Lord Jesus Christ. Christians will not be at that throne.

Revelation 20:12

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
