What does the Bible call the promised land that Israel could have entered?

The promised land Israel could have entered is called God's rest, or His rest, in Scripture. It is also described as the land of milk and honey, a place of rest where they would not have to labor or dig wells, but could simply walk in and possess what was already prepared for them.

Les explains that the land of milk and honey was sitting right in front of them. Everything was ready, and they could have had it all without one ounce of work. Israel could have entered into what the Bible calls God's rest—His rest. They would not have had to labor or dig wells; they could have simply walked in because it was ready. That is why He called it the land of milk and honey, the place of God's rest. But instead, they murmured and feared the giants in the land.
