How did Jesus fulfill what the brazen altar symbolized?

Scripture teaches that Jesus fulfilled the brazen altar by becoming our sacrifice at the cross. The altar symbolized sacrifice and propitiation, and He fulfilled everything it could ever speak of. His death was potentially sufficient for every human being brought into the scene.

Les explains that the whole tabernacle and its court, including the brazen altar, was a picture of Christ's finished work. At the cross, Jesus became our sacrifice, fulfilling everything the brazen altar could ever speak of. The altar pointed to the propitiation accomplished by His death. Les also notes that His death was potentially sufficient for every human being ever brought into the scene, and he rejects the idea of limited atonement. Therefore, the brazen altar finds its fulfillment in Christ's sacrificial work at the cross.
