What does every detail of the tabernacle picture?
Every detail of the whole tabernacle serves as a picture of Christ and His work of the cross. From the outer court to the Ark of the Covenant, the structure and its furnishings point to Him, emphasizing God's redemptive work accomplished through the cross.
Les explains that every detail of the whole tabernacle is a picture of Christ and His work of the cross. In his review, he notes that the Scripture began with the Ark of the Covenant because everything from God's point of view moves from Him out to mankind. But he reverses the order, starting from the outside, the outer court, and ending at the Ark of the Covenant. He also describes the outer fence or wall as pure white linen, with its framework of posts and boards made of wood covered with gold, all part of the tabernacle's detailed picture.
