Was the exodus from Egypt a miraculous event?

Yes, the exodus from Egypt was miraculous. Although the Israelites walked, God miraculously moved them along, enabling them to go from Goshen all the way to the Red Sea in a very short period of time. It was a supernatural deliverance.

Les explains that the exodus out of Egypt had to be miraculous. The Israelites walked, but God must have miraculously moved them along to travel from Goshen down to the Red Sea in such a very short period of time. He compares this to the future escape of Jews from Jerusalem at the midpoint of the Tribulation, when they realize the one they trusted is their mortal enemy, and a tremendous earthquake occurs as they flee.
