What sets believers today apart in God's plan?

Believers today are set apart in God's plan because they have become believers after the resurrection. The high point and crescendo of God's dealing with man centers on His death, burial, and resurrection, not on the seventh-day Sabbath given to Israel. The message Paul received from Mount Sinai defines this distinct position.

Les explains that the Sabbath was instituted for Israel before the Ten Commandments were given, mandated as a holy seventh day of rest and worship. He instructs that Sunday is not the Sabbath; it is the first day, not the seventh. But the very epitome, the high point, the crescendo of all God's dealing with man centers in not only His death, not only His burial, but His resurrection. That resurrection is what sets believers today apart, because they have become believers after His resurrection. Les also suggests that just as God gave the law to Moses on Mount Sinai and Moses took it down to the people of Israel, God took Saul of Tarsus from Damascus down to Mount Sinai for the message Paul has given.
