What is the Holy Spirit's work in salvation?
The Holy Spirit's work in salvation is to bring a person to the place where they walk through the door by faith. Salvation is at ground level, not requiring climbing, paying, or shaping up; the Spirit enables the step of faith through the door.
Les explains that the door to the sheepfold was at ground level, illustrating that salvation is always at ground level. We do not have to climb a high mountain, pay a million dollars, or shape up. The Holy Spirit has been doing His work and is doing His work to bring us to the place where we walk through that door by faith.
