What signs tell us the time is short before the end?
The time is short when technology explodes, world politics moves into a global format, global economics emerges, and the religions and major denominations of the world come under one headship. The world also rushes toward the man of sin's appearance and a semblance of peace in the Middle East.
Les teaches that the world is rushing toward the time when the man of sin will appear and finally bring a semblance of peace to the Middle East. While people wait for that peace, they forget the admonition that when these things come to pass, believers should lift up their eyes because redemption is near. Les explains that the more technology explodes, world politics moves into a global format, global economics develops, and religions and major denominations come under one headship, the more these signs tell us the time is short. He then returns to the verse's point: do not be concerned about things seen, but look at things not seen.
