What is the difference between Jehovah in the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament?
The Old Testament Jehovah and New Testament Jesus are one and the same God; the only difference is that He manifested Himself in the flesh. Saul addressed Jehovah and was answered, I am Jesus, showing Jesus is the God of Abraham, creation, and glory.
Les explains that when Saul of Tarsus encountered the light and voice, he addressed God as Jehovah/Lord, and Jehovah answered, 'I am Jesus,' which blew his mind. Saul had thought he was doing Jehovah's work by stamping out the name of Jesus, then realized that what he thought was his enemy was in reality the God of Abraham. Les emphasizes that Jesus Christ of the New Testament is the Jehovah of the Old Testament and the God of Genesis 1; they are one and the same. The only difference is that He manifested Himself in the flesh. Les also notes a gentleman once asked him, 'Who in the world is Jesus Christ?'—a question more people should ask.
