Why would a true believer be miserable in a bar on Saturday night?
A true believer would be miserable in a honky tonk on Saturday night because grace does not license sin; believers have a different lifestyle and different desires. As a regular honky tonk customer would be miserable in church on Sunday morning, the true believer no longer wants to live like the devil's crowd.
Les explains that grace is not licensed, so it does not mean a believer can go out and live like the devil's crowd, mostly because believers do not want to. He says the average true believer would be as miserable in a honky tonk on Saturday night as a regular honky tonk customer would be miserable in church on Sunday morning. It is the same difference: two totally different lifestyles and two totally different desires, and this is what makes it work.
