Why was Israel dispersed back into the main stream of humanity?

Israel was dispersed because the nation, instructed and nurtured through the Old Testament under the Law and the prophecies, rejected Him. They were dispersed back into the mainstream of humanity from which they were called, not now to evangelize as God intended, but into spiritual blindness, sharing the same position as the Gentile world.

Les explains that Israel had been instructed and nurtured through the Old Testament under the Law and the prophecies, yet they rejected Him. Therefore they were dispersed back into the main stream of humanity from which they were called in the first place. This dispersion was not now to evangelize them as God had originally intended; instead, they were put in a place of spiritual blindness, in the same position as the rest of the Gentile world. About 70 A.D. they lost the Temple, the city, and their homeland, and were dispersed into every nation on earth. Some thirty years before, Paul was called as the progenitor of the Gospel of Grace and the calling out of a Gentile body of Christ, Jews and Gentiles both. When that body is complete and the last one saved, the meeting in the air occurs, when the believer's soul and spirit are brought by Christ and resurrected bodily to be reunited soul, spirit, and body in the air.
