Does corruption inherit incorruption?

No. Scripture states that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, and corruption does not inherit incorruption. The physical body, already corrupt and prone to disease and failure, is buried, but resurrection brings a new body fashioned after Christ's resurrected body.

Les explains that this is easy enough to understand: you do not put a spiritual body, such as Christ's resurrected body, back in the tomb. That which goes into the grave is the old physical body, already corrupt, prone to disease and failures of one sort or another. It is that body of corruption that is buried and placed in the ground. But when it comes out in resurrection power, it will be a new body, fashioned after Christ's body. So corruption does not inherit incorruption; the corrupt physical body is replaced by a resurrection body.

1 Corinthians 15:50

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
