Is all flesh the same according to 1 Corinthians 15?
No. Scripture states that all flesh is not the same: there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fish, and another flesh of birds. It also distinguishes celestial bodies from terrestrial bodies, each with its own glory, showing God gives each seed its own body.
Les explains from 1 Corinthians 15 that God gives grain a body as it pleases Him, and to every seed its own body. This principle goes back to Genesis, where everything is confined to its own species; there is no crossing over from one totally different species into another. Hybridizing may occur, but sowing apple seed will not produce an orange tree. Everything follows its own species. The same is true in the flesh: all flesh is not the same, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another of beasts, another of fish, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies—things in space and things on earth. The glory of the celestial is one, the terrestrial another; the sun, moon, and stars each have distinct glory, and one star differs from another star in glory. Les says this is all an illustration of the resurrection of the dead, which is sown in corruption, death, and raised in power. He then notes he will go back to what the Lord Jesus said about it in His own earthly ministry.
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
