How does 1 Corinthians 15 explain the resurrection order of different groups of believers?

1 Corinthians 15:23 teaches that every believer will be resurrected in his own order, group, or company: Christ the firstfruits, and afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. The groups include Christ and the firstfruits, church-age believers, and Old Testament believers, with further details supplied elsewhere in Scripture.

Les explains that the resurrection chapter, 1 Corinthians 15, has been the focus, and verse 23 gives the order: every man, every believer, in his own order, group, or company—Christ the firstfruits, and afterward they that are Christ's at His coming. Les first covered Christ and the firstfruits, because He was the first to be resurrected, along with those who came out of the graves after His resurrection in Matthew 27. Then he looked in depth at the resurrection of the body of Christ, the church-age believers, showing they will be separated from the rest. One group remained: the resurrection of the Old Testament believers, which is best picked up in Daniel. Les notes that Scripture does not lay out all these groups right in this verse, but sends us back to other portions to dig out where the various groups of believers come into play in resurrection.
