What did God do with Christ after raising Him from the dead?

Scripture teaches that after raising Christ from the dead, God set Him at His own right hand in the heavenlies. This position was assigned by God the Father, not self-appointed, demonstrating Christ's exalted place. The triune God raised Him and set Him there, as an outside personage.

Les emphasizes that resurrection is the epitome, the high point of everything God has accomplished. He points out that God the Father, along with God the Spirit—the triune God—raised Christ from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenlies. Les notes that Jesus did not set Himself down; rather, an outside personage placed Him there. This exaltation confirms the resurrection power and the importance of I Corinthians 15, where if there is no resurrection, everything else falls apart. Les also connects this to Hebrews chapter 1, which was discussed in the previous program.
