What did God do after Jesus was killed by the people?

After the people killed Jesus, the Prince of Life, God did not let death be the end. God raised Him from the dead, and the apostles were witnesses of that resurrection. Peter declares that despite Israel's role in the crucifixion, God powerfully intervened by raising Jesus, validating His Name and calling people to believe in Him.

Les teaches that Peter, speaking to Israel, charged them with killing the Prince of Life, but then asked, "Did that stop God?" The answer is no, because God raised Him from the dead, and the apostles were witnesses. So God's response to the crucifixion was resurrection. Peter then sets up what the people should believe: His Name. Les points out that faith in His Name made the man strong and gave him perfect soundness. Peter calls them to believe in His Name, and the Name Jesus Christ implies He was the Christ.
