Whose image is Christ the express image of in Hebrews 1:3?

Hebrews 1:3 presents Christ as the brightness of the glory of the Godhead and the express, visible, tangible image of His person. The person referred to is the Godhead. Thus Christ is the express image of the Godhead's person, representing the invisible God and upholding all things by the word of His power.

Les teaches that Hebrews chapter 1, verse 3, describes God the Son as the brightness of the glory of the Godhead and the express, visible, tangible image of His person. When the text asks whose person, the answer given is the Godhead. Christ is thus representing the Godhead. The same thought appears earlier where He is called the image of the invisible God. Les also explains that Christ upholds all things by the word of His power, illustrating this with the vast universe and its billions of celestial bodies that stay in orbit because Christ has them under control. This shows God is aware of every individual.
