What does 'then cometh the end' mean in 1 Corinthians 15:24?

It denotes the end of time as we know it, human history, when Christ shall have delivered up the Kingdom to God, even the Father. At that point He will have put down all rule, authority, and power, because He must reign until all enemies are placed under His feet.

Les explains that verse 23 gives the resurrection order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward they that are Christ's at His coming, including all believers from Adam and Eve to the end of the Tribulation, the Church's resurrection and rapture, and the Old Testament and Tribulation Saints as seen in Daniel 12. Then verse 24 says, "then cometh the end," meaning time as we know it, human history, when He shall have delivered up the Kingdom to God, even the Father, having put down all rule, authority, and power. He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet. Les connects this with Psalms 110:1, where the Lord says to my Lord, sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool, showing God the Father speaking to God the Son, and the enemies as all forces of opposition.
