Why does Les place tribulation believers with Old Testament believers?
Tribulation believers are placed with Old Testament believers because they are not members of the body of Christ and cannot be included in it. The tribulation is God's time of dealing with Israel, with the temple operating, so it is primarily a Jewish period and a separate resurrection group.
Les explains that after the church is raptured and is in the Lord’s presence in a resurrected state, the seven-year tribulation follows. During it, multitudes believe and are martyred—Jew and Gentile—but they are not members of the body of Christ; they did not miss the rapture, they simply will not be included in the body and cannot be. Because the tribulation is the time of God dealing with Israel, the temple is operating, and it is primarily a Jewish period, Les places those tribulation believers back with the Old Testament believer. He puts the whole lot—tribulation believers and Old Testament believers—into this particular time of resurrection of this group of just people. Daniel and his fellow Old Testament believers were told they would stand in their lot at the end of the days, the extra 75 days beyond the tribulation.
