Is there greater understanding of Scripture in the last days?
Yes. Alongside exploding secular knowledge, these last days bring greater scriptural understanding than earlier generations could attain. God, the keeper of secrets, is revealing what was once hidden as the age approaches its end, extending knowledge into spiritual matters and the understanding of God's Word.
Les teaches that in the last days there is not only an explosion of secular knowledge but also a greater understanding of the Scriptures than men were able to have before. He says God is the keeper of secrets and repeatedly points to Deuteronomy 29:29, which says the secret things belong unto the Lord our God. God has kept things secret, but He is now revealing them as we approach the end of the age. Therefore knowledge is not limited to the secular world; it also extends into the spiritual realm and the understanding of God's Word.
