Will believers who are alive at the coming of the Lord go ahead of those who have died in Christ?

No. Scripture states that believers who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede or go ahead of those who are asleep in Christ. The living will not take priority over the dead in Christ; God will bring those who have died in Christ with Him.

Les teaches that in 1 Thessalonians 4:15 Paul says by the word of the Lord that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord—the coming for the body of Christ—shall not precede or go ahead of them who are asleep. The context also says God will bring with Him those who have died in Christ, and it identifies Jesus and God as interchangeable in that coming. Believers alive at the rapture therefore do not go ahead of believers who have already died in Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:15

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
